From crossing the countryside, led by the smells of the haying season, to a peaceful horseback ride on the shore of the St. Lawrence, the discovery of an unexpected side of Gaspésie is what the Centre Équestre du Phare Ouest offers you. This centre is certified by the Fédération équestre du Québec, certified Équi-Qualité and is recognized by the Québec à cheval association. Services offered: courses by certified instructors, boarding for horses, day camp, horse drawn carriage and sleigh rides (according to the season), one, two or three‑day excursions according to the centre's established schedule. Riders with their own horses are welcome. Schedule: year-round. Reservations recommended.

Come and appreciate the surrounding nature through beautiful walks along the Mitis River or in the mountains. Guided excursions, tours of the farm and summer camp. A picnic area is also at your disposal. Schedule: year-round, daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Average length of Visit: 1 hour or more. Admission: $15/hour. Reservations recommended.
