This visit will help you understand how Gaspesians have evolved throughout the years while maintaining the same final product that is salted-dried codfish. You can also have access to fish flakes, displays that are lined up in fields where cod is dried by the sun and marine winds. There is also a fish market offering salted-dried products and other products. Schedule: June 15th to September 10th, daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Closed on Sunday. And fine cuisine... Native of the Baie des Chaleurs region and installed at the Manoir de Perce since 1956, the Bujold family will have travellers appreciate a warm atmosphere and a typically Gaspesian fine cuisine. Succomb to Edgar's (the father) smoked salmon and to Yvette's (the mother) cod livers. Our cooks, all certified by the Institut d'hôtellerie du Québec, offer you a fabulous choice of fish and seafood dishes. One of their specialities is a Gaspesian bouillabaisse. And to top it all off, melt in the mouth delicacies prepared by our pastry cook. A succulent meal from beginning to end.
