Photo : Auberge-restaurant La Table à Roland
The legend of La Table à Roland One day handsome Roland, an inveterate gambler, won away all of a friend's earthly possessions in a dice game. Put out, his friend threatened to take back his belongings, by force if necessary. So Roland left France to try his luck in North America, where he found few willing partners among the fisherman. Then he met a man dressed in a long black coat who agreed to play. The stranger pointed to a table in the distance where they would face off - the summit of Mont Sainte-Anne. As they began to play, Roland realized the stranger was a formidable opponent. Soon he had lost everything, at which point the stranger laid down the conditions for one last round ...
Come find out how the legend ends.

Description The cottages "Chalets Soleil sur mer" (or Chalets Sun on Sea) count at the moment a pretty small home, in a hill edging the Baie des Chaleurs, in the delightful municipality of Paspébiac. Two other identical chalets will be ready to rent for summer 2009. The land makes 300' on the sea where a splend private beach of sand, pretty shellfishes and other treasures waits for you there (there is no cliff). Absolutely isolated from the noise of the city, the occupiers hear only the sound of waves, winds and marine birds. No neighbours, no telephone (the cell works), no noise!!! True vacation!!!
The first chalet (Seaside) was constructed in 2006, and the two others (in the hill) will be constructed as from the automn 2008. Chalets all have a large gallery with BBQ and table patio. They all are done up with new pieces of furniture and household appliances (oven, fridge, dishwasher, cleaner, drier), and new attachments (stereo, dinnerware, coffee maker, microwave, sheets, towels, etc.). All you need to bring is you suitcases, yous bathing suit, a good book and make a quick stop at the local grocery, less than 5 minutes of chalets.
