One to four‑day guided hikes, with services to hikers on the International Appalachian Trail, Matane Wildlife Reserve and Parc national de la Gaspésie sectors. Various packages for two to eight people in a safe environment, such as nature interpretation, lodging in tents or shelters with healthy meals prepared by the guides, introduction to long hike, family hiking and camping, moose watching, ecotourist hiking, visit of the Matane Wildlife Reserve, snowshoeing. Vehicle transfer and people and baggage transportation also available. Schedule: year-round. Reservation mandatory. Average length of Visit: 1 to 4 days.

Hiking
Come walk along the clearest river in Québec! More than 50 kilometres of waymarked trails. You will see cascades, waterfalls, lookouts and salmon pools. Campground located along the river. You have access to: shelter, picnic table, fire area, chemical toilets, and tent site. Shuttle and equipment transportation services. Other activities: canoeing, kayaking, health centre, restaurant, swimming and shows. 

Kayaking
Discover the Bonaventure River, the clearest river in Québec, by canoe or by kayak. Several daily departures, the Familiale, at all time, the Vaillante at 8 a.m., the Populaire at 10 a.m. and the P'tite vite at 1 p.m. Site on the river shore offering lodging such as wooded camping area, tepee and "eco-lodges” on piles. Show evenings every Monday at the Resto-bar Bonita. Also available: sauna, Nordic spas, massotherapy, swimming and unforgettable nature vacations atmosphere.

Schedule: June to September, daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations recommended.

Hiking

Kayaking

The International Appalachian Trail, which is 1,085 km long (160 km in Maine, 275 km in New Brunswick and 650 km in Québec), starts at Mount Katahdin in Maine, crosses Mont Carleton in New Brunswick, enters Matapédia then passes through the Valley to the Matapédia Lake seigniory. It then crosses the Matane Wildlife Reserve along the Québec Fernald Ecological Reserve before reaching Mont Logan and crossing the Parc de la Gaspésie. From there, it stretches towards Mont-Saint-Pierre and borders various villages up to Rivière-au-Renard to end at Cap Gaspé in the Forillon National Park of Canada.

Hiking trails that appear on this list are managed by organisations that are members of the ATR Gaspésie and are part of the Répertoire des lieux de marche au Québec 2007 of the Fédération québécoise de la marche. They have been selected according to the following criteria: the trail must be at least 5 kilometres long and should be able to use it after the snow melting in the spring until the return of the snow in the fall. www.fqmarche.qc.ca
