Surrounded by the beautiful Matapedia River, the notorious Revermont Golf Course opened its first nine hole in 1968. Eighteen year later, the second nine was comleted. Today, the course is among the Valley's prides. In a lovely setting of old trees, ponds and rivers, the Revermont's tee configuration produce yardage's ranging from 5310 yards from the forward tees to 6407 from the championship tees. In addition to the natural obstacles, you will find 37 sand bunkers. Therefore, the course of golf offers a great challenge to mature golfer and a great excuse to beginners.

Located 4 km East of Amqui along the Road 132, the Clubhouse offers a bar, a restaurant and a golf shop. Are also available : Golf carts, a putting green and a golf range. The clubhouse adjoining terrace provides a beautiful panoramic view of the golf course. It is not surprising that is well known as a prime site for weddings and other special occasions.

For an agreeable stay, packages combining golf and accommodation are available. Hotels, Bed & Breakfast and inns are only 10 minutes of the Clubhouse and the municipal camping site borders the Matapédia Lake is only 8 km from there.

In 1998, the Golf International magazine awarded the Revermont Golf Course with the mention of excellence in the Gaspésie and Iles-de-la-Madeleine for the season.
