Listuguj is a Mi’gmaq community nestled between the Appalachian Mountains, Chaleur Bay and the beautiful Restigouche River. Stretch your legs and explore the Gespe’gewa’gi Trails or enjoy the river view as you grab a bite at the local canteen and ice cream shop.
Everyone is welcome to the annual Pow Wow which is the largest in the region and is always the first weekend in August. It starts off with a salmon feast and features many Indigenous artisans, dancers, drummers and vendors. You can also pick up some gifts or supplies at any of the local shops.
