This welcoming and peaceful village, established in the middle of the 19th century, was named after its founder, Abbot Charles-Godefroy Fournier. Its main industry is fishing, particularly lobster fishing.
Come and admire the sea, visit the modern fishing harbour, the roadside rest area, the campground, as well as the wilderness campground located at the base of the cliffs near the sea. Enjoy the Internet café and the handicraft shop at the Place du Quai. Located west of the village, discover a red sand beach. Enjoy the lovely views to the east of the Shigawake cliff and the village of Saint-Godefroi.
