Established in 1873 and the oldest municipality in the Matapédia Valley, Saint-Moïse is proud of its vast and imposing Renaissancestyle church built in 1914. Bordered by mountains offering majestic colours, Saint-Moïse is a popular estination that offers fresh air as well as ATV and snowmobile trails.

A rest area (restrooms, pavilion, game module, outdoor exercisers and RV dump station) invites you to stop and rest for a moment in this part of the country. In August, Opti-Boeuf is one of the main events in this municipality.
