From September to November, the Gaspé mountains reveal vast networks of trails with breathtaking panoramas, where the autumn colors light up every hike. The sea becomes a stage for encounters with whales and seals.
In the heart of the forest, you can observe moose, bears, and other wildlife for memorable animal encounters. Autumn can also be explored by ATV, following an extensive network of trails that lead to unique viewpoints otherwise inaccessible.

What to do in Gaspésie in September?
In September, fall colours gradually spread over the region. This is the best time of year to go hiking and observe whales and moose. You can also still go salmon fishing and camping until the end of the month. After Labour Day (the first Sunday of the month), the high season is over, but many businesses remain open. This is a great time for a getaway to stretch out the summer, but be sure to confirm the places you want to visit are still open before you plan your trip.
