A popular area among outdoor enthusiasts, this valley is known for the diversity of its waterways and its wild forests. A stay at the lodge offers you the opportunity to enjoy many outdoor activities customized to your needs in a fabulous setting.

Built in 2011, the Matapédia River Lodge is made entirely of local wood, which gives it an appealing rustic charm. The lodge offer five rooms that can accommodate 2 to 4 guests each with three shared bathrooms, as well as one room with a private bathroom and private access to the patio. This patio (with tables and chairs) offers a breathtaking view of the river and mountains and also gives you the opportunity to observe many hummingbirds at our feeders.

Rates include breakfast, and several plans are available: B&B, American and European. Every night, a three-course table d’hôte menu is available upon reservation, which allows you to meet friendly people and share stories about your adventures each day. You can also visit a small local fishing village, the old train station and the covered bridge.
