Important Information
To ride snowmobile trails in Québec, you must purchase a trail permit. Visit the FCMQ website to buy yours online.
Download the iMotoneige app to access a map of the trails, even without a data plan or cell coverage.
Trail conditions are updated regularly on the FCMQ trail map. Make sure you consult them before setting off on your trip.
All laws and regulations regarding off-road vehicle use must be followed at all times.

The snowmobile bridge on Trans-Québec trail #5 in Sainte-Madeleine-de-la-Rivière-Madeleine is closed for the 2025/2026 season. A shuttle is available to safely cross the river. The service is offered free of charge, with no reservation required, from January 12 to April 3, 2026, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Snowmobilers can wait in heated areas set up near the site. Up to four snowmobiles can be transported at a time.
The trail between La Cache and Murdochville will once again be accessible for the 2025–2026 season. Check iMotoneige for current trail conditions.
