An Open-Air Archaeology Museum
A timeless museum complex, Espace NAPAGA is located on the Pabos archaeological site, which it helps to preserve. More than 18,500 artifacts have been discovered so far, reconstructing daily life at the most important permanent commercial fishing establishment on the Gaspé Coast during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Set against a breathtaking, millennia-old panorama, everything you experience at NAPAGA immerses you in 250 years of history of a maritime seigneury, through the lives and adventures of the inhabitants of New France. Archaeology comes to life in the heart of nature.
