Zoom Nature Desjardins

1026, boulevard Jacques-Cartier
Mont-Joli, Québec G5H 0B1

Zoom Nature Desjardins is a biodiversity interpretation center. Visitors can discover artifacts related to wildlife, geology, and mineralogy, including preserved bird and mammal specimens, a collection of Québec insects, minerals, and fossils.

Since 2024, Zoom Nature Desjardins has also showcased shells and marine artifacts from around the world, taken from one of the most comprehensive collections of its kind in Québec. Thanks to a touch pool, visitors can also become familiar with living species from the St. Lawrence River.

Finally, Zoom Nature Desjardins features a live reptile exhibit, with turtles, snakes, and lizards on loan from Le Mistral Sauvage, Québec’s only school-run zoo. Guided tours and scavenger hunts are available.
