As the only independent film festival in Gaspésie, Les Percéides is known for its freedom of thought, innovative programming and accessibility to non-professional audiences interested in daring contemporary cinema.
The festival screens a selection of films produced in the previous year, including feature films and shorts as well documentaries, animated productions and experimental films. In the years to come, the festival hopes to showcase not only up-and-coming independent filmmakers as well as future greats, but also both experienced and underrated filmmakers.
The festival also presents contemporary art in the context of Percé’s unique architecture and natural beauty.
