The sea, cliffs, and mountains of Forillon endow this park with unique and exceptionally beautiful scenery. Visit the park to observe seals, seven species of whales (cruises with interpreter guides available), beavers, black bears, moose, and various species of birds. You can also hike explore a wide vast network of hiking trails for all levels and enjoy sea kayaking (with a guide or on your own), snorkelling (on your own), biking, swimming and more.
The park also offers interpretive activities focused on the the area’s natural and historical heritage. Be sure to also visit the park’s heritage sites, including a historic general store, a typical fisherman farmer’s house and World War II fortifications. Various camping (Petit-Gaspé, Des-Rosiers, Cap-Bon-Ami) and glamping options are also available.
Please note that you may visit the park in the off-season (from mid-October to late May), when it is not officially in operation and when the roads in the North and South areas are closed. Winter activities are offered in collaboration with the Centre Culturel Le Griffon, which will delight cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fatbiking enthusiasts. Several other trails and infrastructures are also accessible; however, they are not maintained, which means visitors are responsible for their own safety. For information about park access in the off-season, please visit facebook.com/ski-forillon.
