Discover ATV Trails in Gaspésie
In the summer or fall, hop on your ATV or side-by-side and discover all that Gaspésie has to offer. The region boasts nearly 2600 km of marked ATV trails, including the Trans-Québec trail, which loops around the Gaspé Peninsula over a distance of about 1500 km, a journey that typically takes a week to complete. This loop around Gaspésie will also take you through the Chic-Choc Mountains and offers unique views of the St. Lawrence and Percé Rock. Many shorter rides are also possible.
La Matapédia, which is probably the most popular ATV destination in Gaspésie, offers a multitude of loop ride options. This sector boasts over 700 km of high-quality marked trails that feature many points of interest, such as observation towers and suspended lookouts. The local ATV club also hosts an annual quad festival.
Throughout the region, you will find welcoming accommodation establishments and excellent restaurants. Note that ATV trails are not open in Gaspésie in the winter.
