Located between sea and mountains, Cap-Chat is home to the world’s largest vertical-axis wind turbine, which dominates the landscape along with 76 others. The Le Nordais wind farm, the first and largest ever built in Canada and one of the largest in North America, has a total of 133 wind turbines with an installed capacity of 100 MW.

Also, sports centre, outdoor recreation centre and superb salmon river. The Capucins roadside rest area offers a unique view on the energy of tomorrow; further east, another rest area with a walking trail leads to the beach and presents a stunning view of the Chic-Choc Mountains.
