This small coastal village is nestled near a cove in a small valley, which gave it its name (petite vallée means “small valley”). Home to a song festival and the Théâtre de la Vieille Forge, Petite-Vallée is recognized as a major cultural hub in Eastern Québec and a hotbed of new talent in song, theatre and the performing arts.
A hiking trail of less than one kilometer leads to Mount Didier, where you can enjoy a panoramic view. Stop by the new Parc du Havre in the heart of the village, which features the cenotaph at Place du Souvenir. Explore the new multi-use trails designed for walking and running in the forest, trail and mountain biking, as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter.
