Distillerie des Marigots

This distillery is perched at the top of a cliff in Caplan in an incredible site overlooking Chaleur Bay. Housed in a solid timber building with large windows, it gives visitors the opportunity to watch the distillery production process as well as soak up a view of the sea.

The building and facilities were designed to help us provide our visitors with a warm welcome and an unusual experience. We encourage interactions with our staff and offer visitors a unique perspective on the production process and the creation of our spirits.

The master distiller is inspired by the Gaspesian countryside and takes care to bring out the exceptional quality of the ingredients he uses. His approach is to showcase the aromas and fragrances found in this region as well as local agricultural know-how. He then lets the seaside atmosphere influence the crafting of his products, which are prepared in small batches.

When you purchase a product from our distillery, you hold in your hands a sample of Gaspésie: a high-quality spirit with a hint of the exotic that overflows with authenticity. Its flavour will remind you the rich warmth and character of your trip to the Gaspé Peninsula!

We offer guided tours of our facilities upon reservation as well as a shop and tasting area.
