Presentation of numerous artifacts from underwater archaeological excavations made on the wreck of the French pirate frigate Le Machault commemorating the last naval battle between France and Great Britain for the possession of the New France in 1760. Acadian refugees from La Petite Rochelle and Micmacs from Listuguj supported this relief expedition. A set recreates the interior of the Machault while a film relates the naval confrontation. Photographic exhibition of Parks Canada's 50th anniversary of underwater archeology.
