Admire the remains of the Machault, an imposing 26-gun sailing ship, and relive the very last naval battle between France and Great Britain for control of North American territory in 1760.

Don’t miss: a guided tour in period costume. Available from June to mid-October between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Experience the frigate Le Machault’s final voyage through the eyes of a historical character.

In collaboration with the Mi’gmaq community of Listuguj, discover a birchbark canoe crafted by artisans. Learn more about how it was made and how it was used.

Also enjoy the Parks Canada gift shop and the terrace overlooking the Restigouche River.

Free admission from June 19 to September 7, 2026, inclusive. Outside this period: Adults $5, Seniors $4.50, free for ages 17 and under, commercial groups: $4.25 per person. Costumed guided tour: Groups of up to 20 people $12 per person; groups of more than 20 people $8.50 per person.
