Birdwatch at the Gros Ruisseau rest area located west of the village, where bank stabilization has been enhanced by the Comité ZIP (zone d'intervention prioritaire - area of prime concern) du Sud-de-l'Estuaire. Nearby, the International Garden Festival invites you to visit its extramural garden.
Via the promenade of Place Clément-Chouinard, wander to the beach and admire beautiful sunsets; on the wharf, meet fishermen; and in front of the church at the Place Flavie-Drapeau, enjoy the picnic area and beach access.
In the heart of the village, visit the Galerie d'art du Vieux Presbytère (art gallery), the library, and the local historical interpretive centre in the adjacent barn. Also, enjoy La Mitis public market, located near the municipal building on Saturdays, from June to September, and activities on the wharf, on Thursday nights, in July and August.
