The Petite-Vallée Song Festival celebrates francophone song through an eclectic program that reflects the rich diversity of the Québec music scene. The event also makes room for the next generation by showcasing a selection of emerging singer-songwriters and interpreters through the Escales en Chanson program. For 10 days, nearly 20,000 visitors come to our village of 140 people to enjoy a unique festival experience!
In Petite-Vallée, we love singing, singer-songwriters and all those who are passionate about this artform. By the sea, about 840 km east of Montréal, warm-hearted locals have been showcasing francophone song for 40 years to help people come alive and change their lives.
Because this is the mission of the song festival: its creators firmly believe that it is possible to change people’s destiny through the performing arts, the poetry of words and music, and by creating a large extended family made up of the thousands of people who come here every year to experience musical moments that are fundamentally human on a small rocky outcrop that juts out into the St. Lawrence! This year, the festival’s 42nd edition will take place from June 25 to July 5. You won’t want to miss it!
