Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée

For over 40 years, the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée has brought together the voices that make French-language music so rich and diverse. Its eclectic program celebrates both major figures on Quebec’s music scene and emerging talent. This includes the Escales en chanson, a showcase for up-and-coming singer-songwriters whose careers sometimes begin right here.

For ten days, nearly 20,000 festivalgoers flock to Petite-Vallée, a village of just 140 residents, to experience artistic encounters unlike any other. One show at a time, in this seaside village on a rocky point stretching toward the horizon… That’s the promise of the Festival: deeply human moments brought to life through the poetry of words and music.

For its 44th edition, taking place from June 24 to July 3, 2027, under the theme “Boats Are Made for Sailing,” the Festival welcomes two guiding artists: Daniel Lavoie and Alan Côté. This will be Alan’s final year as artistic director. The edition will celebrate the passing of the torch, honouring those who paved the way and entrusting the helm to the next generation.
