The Matapédia River Lodge-Outfitter, built in 2011, is made entirely of wood, giving it a charming rustic character. It offers five rooms accommodating 2 to 4 people, with three shared bathrooms, as well as one room with a private bathroom and private access to the terrace. This terrace, furnished with tables and chairs, provides breathtaking views of the river and mountains and allows you to watch hummingbirds as they come to feed.

Breakfast is included in the rates, and several meal plans are available: B&B, American, or European. A homemade three-course table d’hôte dinner is offered every evening (by reservation), giving you the chance to meet friendly people and share your day’s discoveries. You can also visit the small fishing village, the old train station, and the covered bridge.
