Grande-Vallée (municipalité)

Admire the much-photographed village of Grande-Vallée and the illuminated cape at night from the scenic lookout. A hiking trail leads to the St. Lawrence where you can see the Gisant (a rock resembling the outline of a human face).

Enjoy Parc Alexis-Caron, featuring a playground, splash pad, tennis courts, pickleball, a pump track, a riverside walkway, a covered bridge, a beach and wharves for recreational fishing. Across the river, visit the tourist information office and explore Espace Esdras-Minville, home to a pub, boutique, museum and electric vehicle charging hub.

From Route 132, access the valley, a bike path, Lac de la Ferme and a shooting range. In the cove, you can go scuba diving to explore the wreck of the SS Frederika Lensen, which witnessed the Battle of the St. Lawrence.
