Grande-Vallée (municipalité)

Admire the much-photographed village of Grande-Vallée and the illuminated cape at night from the scenic lookout. A hiking trail leads to the St. Lawrence where you can see the Gisant (a rock resembling the outline of a human face).

Visit the tourist welcome bureau and Alexis-Caron park (playground, tennis court, path along the water, covered bridge, beach, water play area and wharves where you can enjoy sport fishing). On the opposite shore, visit Espace Esdras-Minville (museum, gift shop).

From Route 132, access the valley, a bike path, Lac de la Ferme and a shooting range. In the cove, you can go scuba diving to explore the wreck of the SS Frederika Lensen, which witnessed the Battle of the St. Lawrence.
