Located between sea and mountains, Marsoui has evolved around these elements. Historically, fishing was abundant, which drew many anglers; however, the village’s main economic activity remains the forest industry. It is also home to commercial sugar bushes using cutting-edge technology, several lakes and rivers for sport fishing, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails.
With the Alphonse-Couturier park dedicated to the arts, as well as the presence of the Mandoline Hybride company (initiator of Salon58 and FURIES - contemporary dance festival), Marsoui stands out with its exceptional cultural and artistic component in the region.
