The Rivière-Nouvelle ZEC (a controlled zone that provides access to fishing and hunting) is a world-renowned sea trout and Atlantic salmon fishing area and offers an exceptional fishing experience throughout the season. Parc national de Miguasha, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is famous for its fossil site. Nouvelle also offers several ATV and snowmobile trails. The Miguasha beach (undeveloped) provides a wonderful view and is a great place to relax.
