Motorcycling in Gaspésie
Tour the Gaspé Peninsula on a Motorcycle
A tour of the region of Gaspésie on a motorcycle means following an 885-km scenic route that loops around the entire peninsula. This ride meanders through coastal and mountain scenery, taking you through welcoming towns and offering new things to stop and discover at every turn.
Should you head northward (clockwise) or southward (counterclockwise) around the peninsula? What you choose may depend on the wind, the weather and your personal preference. Depending on how fast you ride, you can complete the whole loop in as little as two days, but why not take the time to enjoy the journey, make stops along the way and explore a few side roads? If you are pressed for time, you can also enjoy shorter rides in Gaspésie.
The roads will welcome you from spring to fall, but sea breezes make summer rides especially enjoyable. Along the way, locals will greet you warmly, whether for a meal or an overnight stay near the road.
